Depending on the user and budget, the solution is either based on the most powerful real-time intelligent-system G2 to more practical lower-cost solutions.
The key principles are high-quality real-time data collection, data validation and verification, alarming and control. One of the biggest issues today with power systems is that data collected does not correlate or look right. Optin uses basic physics and Electrical Engineering principles executing in real-time to ensure all data is correct and "weird" data is noted, highlighted, and possibly excluded from calculations. Basic and often forgotten principles such as the "conservation of energy," and compensation if instrumentation and errors and calibration are widely used.

The displays are intelligent and adapt to changing conditions in real-time. The meters are displayed above are virtual meters consisting of both primary and backup meters, where the "final" reading consists of the reading from the sensible "default" meter, which are mathemtically combined to reflect relaity.
